I didn't grow up as an artist. For most of my life, drawing wasn't part of who I was. Then, later in life, I picked up a pencil and began learning portrait art from scratch. What started as curiosity became a passion.
I became fascinated by the challenge of capturing character, emotion, and personality through charcoal. Thousands of hours of practice later, that passion continues to grow with every portrait.
This website is a collection of that journey — finished works, commissioned pieces, and ongoing explorations in hyperreal portraiture.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that creativity doesn't have an expiration date. New gifts can be discovered, developed, and refined at any stage of life.
